After Kelly’s retirement from the U.S. Army in June of 2009 after 21 years of service to his nation, Kelly decided to become an entrepreneur, going into business with a friend to form Networking International, also becoming a partner in a marketing firm FireWolf Marketing. In March of 2012 Kelly became a little closer to the city by joining to help make Memphis more digital.  The summer of 2013 Kelly founded Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy. Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy (MEA!) is a groundbreaking and innovative program that transforms young students into real, confident entrepreneurs using a teamwork and community centered approach. Our programs teaches students to develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, and pitch their business plans to the community in order to  launch their own start-up companies.
